I do not agree with everything said here, but my quibbles are small. Besides, if we are going to listen to anybody on this subject there is no better person alive than someone like Ed Meese who participated in and deeply regrets the errors of the bill that Ronald Reagan signed in 1986.

It’s a damned shame that Bush is too much the stubborn idiot to pay heed to the myriad rational warnings against what he so desparately wants to impose upon our children.
