Where to Stop Reading an Immigration Editorial?

The Storm Over Immigration - washingtonpost.com

But those critics are loath to acknowledge that deporting 12 million people, including droves of workers on whom the American economy relies, is economically suicidal, pragmatically unfeasible and morally repellent.

When some smarmy, self-assured, elite asshat from his lair within the Beltway tosses up the straw-man that, sniff, “we can’t deport them all,” we can rest assured that what follows is total bullshit. As covered here myriad times and myriad ways, we don’t need to “deport them all.” Nor do we need any new legislation. We need to enforce what’s on the books and gradually ratchet up the heat on businesses who hire criminal aliens and upon the cross-border interlopers themselves. We only need deport as many as it takes for the rest to get the point that we are serious about their not staying.  Unfortunately, thanks to bastards like those in the Washington Post editorial offices, our “leaders” are comfy in playing along and, basically, telling Americans that their nation is too weak to tackle tough problems.

With that attitude, good luck on saving us from islamic extremists and world caliphate…

Our fearless leaders can’t even get the minimum wage close to a living wage, because it might hurt small business, but they can give away any change for the American worker to put pressure on big business due to a shortage of workers to raise wages. Much the same as big oil does in raising oil prices.

AZ, thanks for the support. It seemed to take forever to get this new version of the site up and running.

    Well put, Dennis. Well put.
