I’m still sparring with Jake and Michelle’s resident troll over FreedomFolks, which sort of bothers me because I made a vow to myself never to allow the bile he presents to occupy my time again. Trying to engage him on an intellectual level is like trying to do CPR on three-day-old roadkill; it’s futile, it makes you want to puke and the smell seems to take forever to wash off.
But in this case I think my efforts have paid off. My success today is not, mind you, in any way related to said troll’s wicked disdain for any American who does not like multiculturalism, or rejects diversity, or abhors political correctness. Rather, it has to do with a challenge I posed to him.
After reflecting on it, I think it’s a challenge that from now on I will pose to every open borders advocate and every Ethnocentric rabble-rouser who insists that Americans have no right to keep the culture and traditions of the majority:
1) Show us where in history our nation has taken in any sizable group that did not originate in Western civilization and successfully made it truly a part of the whole.
2) Prove to us incontrovertibly that if we follow the path you prescribe it can be undone if you turn out to be mistaken, with no harm befalling us or our children in the process.
3) Convince us absolutely that our children’s chances of reaching their highest potentials will not be harmed, not… one… bit, if we do as you wish.
4) Provide cogent rationale for us to quietly accept a future America in which our children will participate in the franchise as a plurality or minority in the nation their ancestors intended for them to have.
5) Craft a reasonable storyline about how our bowing out of Western civilization and becoming more aligned with nations that have never even come close to maintaining long-term stable governments of any sort, much less democracies, will make us a better nation in the future.
The first part of the challenge is important because there is no evidence available at all that such a thing has ever happened. It forces acceptance of the point that the assimilation of non-Westerners into the United States is speculative at best.
This leads naturally into the second part of the challenge, which forces open borders advocates to admit they’re being speculative and just don’t know what will happen if, by immigration, our nation and its culture are fundamentally altered. Some might theorize ways in which the laws might keep today’s American citizens and their children out of immigration-related harms way, but they can do no better than stand on supposition. Considering that, if what they advocate is going to be made workable for America, we’ll have to trust the same government that either can’t or won’t do its job regarding our borders and interior enforcement today, getting past this part of the challenge is unlikely.
This website and blog has always been first and foremost about my little girl, Katie, and any other children my wife and I hopefully will have. So part three of my challenge is in a way more important than the others…at least it is to me personally.
If our children are to reach their highest potentials, at the very least they must have access to an educational system that is never distracted by unconscionably-imposed numbers of alien children who must, by court order, be remediated at our expense.
Our children must have access to a healthcare system that isn’t hemorrhaging money because uninsured and health-ignorant aliens are here in such numbers that the whole system has been made actuarially unsound.
Our children deserve not to have the infrastructure, paid for by their parents and ancestors in blood, sweat and taxes, worn out early thanks to concurrency planning failures brought about by a tsunami of alien newcomers that not only don’t have a stake in amortizing today’s infrastructure, but also are so low-skilled that they can’t possibly pay their fair share going forward either.
My fourth challenge will be one I’m sure that many ethnocentrists will find to be most disturbing. And I have no problem with that thought. The fact that if majority America doesn’t change its mindset about immigration, abandoning the forever false notion that it is a “nation of immigrants,” then its children and grandchildren will live in an America in which they are made either an unconscionably weakened plurality, or an outright minority. Thus, this strong branch of Western civilization will be inevitably be politically severed from its source; and, from their weakened positions within the franchise, the ancestors of America’s forefathers will have a hard time keeping this nation from descending into the Third World.
If mass immigration continues to drag America in this direction at some point not too far off it will be too late to save it. There will be no rescuing our heritage from a fate we should have avoided. Whatever is left of Western civilization will long have given up on trying to maintain its familial relationship with America. I don’t doubt that my descendents will be expected to try to fix what should never have been broken, and all the while America’s new ethnocentric leaders will be aligning this nation with the leaders, cultures and peoples of underdeveloped nations from which their ancestors came.
For anyone to successfully complete this challenge they must prove, convince and make self-evident that what they believe and desire will work…on every single point of the challenge. Only then will their demands be worth our time for discussion.

Yeah - what he said!
Unfortunately, my own experiences in dealing with the politically correct mental illness of others has shown me that this notion that we are a nation of immigrants is nearly impossible to remove from their skulls.
I fear for our children, as well, if the grand social experiment fails — certainly it is not going very well now.
Personally, no one asked ME if it was OK to turn my country into a bi-lingual stew. I think something as important as this should be put to a referendum before the people.
P.S. VDARE calls this the “National Question” - whether America can continue to take in exorbitant amounts of immigrants year after year, and still remain America as we knew her.
