Katie’s Dad 2.0

It’s gotten pretty hot over at FreedomFolks over the past few days. Jake’s resident troll is taking a severe pounding, and it’s actually pretty funny. I wrote something in response there about the likelihood, rather, un-likelihood, that certain groups or Diaspora can successfully assimilate in America. I’m going to repost it here, with a bit of rewriting an editorial tightening.

It all started out with accusation from Jake’s rotten peanut gallery of one that I don’t believe that the children of Hispanic immigrants can assimilate.

My short answer to that is: Of course I don’t believe it!

My long answer is:

This nation has never proved successful at assimilating a Diaspora of any sort that did not have its origins in Western Civilization. There is not one example where this is not true. Of course, there are those who will come back with typical incidental references where one or a few individuals have done so, but they won’t be able to find an actual non-Western Diaspora that has done so. Period. Mostly, those living in such a state of denial regarding man’s inability to escape his human nature are firmly entrenched on the left; but, ever since George Bush grafted his stupid “compassionate-conservatism” into the fabric of the GOP the infection of this idiocy has spread. The proliferation of liberal protestant churches doesn’t help either.

If we’re going to save this nation from a slow slide into becoming a Balkanized, third world hell, modal conservatives need to replenish their intellectual quivers and stop being afraid to use the truth, unvarnished and politically incorrect as it may be, to slay the socialist utopian figments that drive the diversophile and multiculturalist agendas.

History is always informative in these instances. Americans need to be correctly informed that many of those who migrated here during the Great Wave found it difficult to Americanize; so many in fact that large percentages repatriated. They need to be informed that those more likely to repatriate happened to be those who were more dissimilar both culturally and genetically from America’s traditional stock. Some sources indicate perhaps half the Italians who came here left during their lifetimes, and as many as a third of the Germans did also. When the sloganeering that brought us “a nation of immigrants” drowns out the antithetical reality of a concept, it can’t be corrected by being nice about it. Lies are harder to kill than truth sometimes.

What mass-immigration supporters see as “racist” about this are the things conservatives see as prescriptive. When questioning the wisdom of this nation ever allowing immigration from anywhere on a mass scale, Jefferson (classically liberal) pointed out that “it is for the happiness of those united in society to harmonize as much as possible in matters which they must of necessity transact together.” He was pointing out a truth about human nature that government by the people is best done if the people remain similar. Race consideration is a background story, but it isn’t the point.

What both drives and falsely reassures mass-immigration supporters is a warped and overly optimistic view of “harmony” as it pertains to human nature. Conservatives must simply, firmly and completely reject contemporary lunacy that insists that multiculturalism somehow enriches us. It does not. It might work for a while in situations in which it can be artificially imposed, like a school or a workplace, but it will not work in a neighborhood.

For the imposed diversity being promulgated by various bad actors and useful fools in America today to work large scale for the long term requires a consistent force driving it. Government must necessarily impose itself more and more in some correlation to the level of Balkanization it has spurred. Diversity cannot work without micromanagement. Unchecked, the eventual result of multiculturalism is totalitarian rule. A certain level of homogeneity is prerequisite to people governing themselves without killing each other.

This stuff is nothing new, it’s just been made impolite to discuss so that America’s minorities and members of its various anointed victim classes won’t have their feelings hurt. What always gets lost is the fact that people’s actions and reactions to imposed diversity speak a lot louder than words. Does it ever really go unnoticed, or un-resented, when people flee neighborhoods after members of a disparate group impose themselves among them? If I weren’t so used to dealing with people who have obviously had their common sense indoctrinated out of them, I would be amazed that so many are are astonished when others behave in such transparently knowable ways. Its almost as if people’s minds have been completely and hermetically sealed in the present, and there is no way for them to access their past…the source of wisdom.

I’m now aware that one of my ancestors from Normandy was with William the Conqueror when he sacked England. It is really exciting for me to know another surname in my tree; and just last week I obtained my proof of descent from the invader’s grandson’s line. In researching that point in history, I learned that many Anglo Saxons emigrated from England, not because they had been conquered, but a few years later because of their desire to remain culturally homogeneous. And these were people who had been conquered by people who had shared ancestors and swapped genes for more than 1000 years! Such examples are not unique, they’re common. The natural human reaction to the impositions of diversity is not affinity, it’s antipathy. The majority of this nation’s immigrants since 1965 are far more dissimilar from our traditional majority than Normans and Anglo-Saxons were. Honestly, they’re just not going to mesh with us and the sooner we admit it, the less dangerous it will be for us return to a sane, selective policy toward others who want to come here.

It does not take a great leap of reasoning to conclude that if an invasion is perpetrated upon a dominant group by those markedly dissimilar from it, then the reactions dictated by human nature, perhaps genetically programmed artifacts related to survival, will range from negative to hostile. “White flight” is just another name for one aspect of this part of human nature. I know it’s shocking for some these days to read about people acting like normal, un-politically-corrected humans. Since it messes with their foolish overly-optimistic fairy tales and since the leftists writing them have only the untried and untested and unfounded as tools to argue their points; they must attack rational human reactions to diversity with all the politically correct, brute vengeance they can muster. That’s how people like Geraldo Rivera operate.

Considering what is at stake in our Western discussions about immigration, the very futures of our children and heritage, we’d be fools if we were to cave in to the politically correct. If we truly are going to save ourselves, and make our nations better in the process, then genetics, IQ, ability and innovativeness ALL should be on the table for discussion about who we will be in the future. The measurement indicators provided by IQ tests and genome research were not available to previous generations, but there no sane reason why we should not avail ourselves of them today. If we’re going to have immigration policy, it should be jealously, even harshly, selective and consider all sources of decisive information…not just those few sources that are deemed politically correct by some ignorant, compassion-centric intelligentsia.

For instance, the average IQ for the nation of Mexico is 87. The average IQ of America was 100 in 1970 (prior to Hart-Celler’s impositions having an effect), but has fallen to 98 today when some studies suggest it should have been enhanced to about 109 by the Flynn Effect. Now, this point is based on such a severe summarization that it doesn’t exactly hit the mark. But the main point it leads to still stands: While many new paradoxes have been noted and are being researched in the fields of genetics and human intelligence , there is not one study over the past 100 years that such studies have been done that shows that humans can ever escape completely from their heritage when it comes to intelligence, ability and interpersonal cohesiveness.

Further, if there actually are portions of an individual’s general intelligence that may perhaps be enhanced by environment, why would any sane nation desire undermining the environments in its classrooms by imposing upon them substantial numbers of individuals who can only serve to inhibit students in the aggregate from reaching their highest potentials of intelligence? If America ever devolves from a nation whose majority of its residents and citizens do not share Western Civilization’s ancestral origins to one in which its majority comes from any other root stock, it will cease to be America. Indeed, it will be post-America. If it’s majority is genetically aligned with that of Mexico, it will become Mexican and adopt the artifacts of culture and heritage that come with it.

Gone will be the special relationship America has had with mother England, which may soon be part of a Caliphate if it does not deal as honestly and harshly with its similar problems as we need to with ours.
