Civics in America

From Infoplease.com
Pronunciation: (siv'iks), [key]
—n. (used with a sing. v.)

the study or science of the privileges and obligations of citizens.

My heartfelt appreciation goes out to the people and groups doing good works in the cause of preserving American heritage through truthful dissemination of information about our traditional civic values. Many of their works are linked on this page.

Our nation made a mistake as it gradually moved away from the mandatory teaching of historically accurate American civics in our public educational institutions. Today, the facts are ignored and "multiculturalism" is portrayed as some as some sort of long-held American value. It most certainly is not. Multiculturalism is a recently invented, socially-Marxist construct that must be refuted and eradicated from public consciousness if we are to have a free and peaceful America for future generations.

The civic fallacies our children are being taught can only be overcome by parents becoming informed and setting the record straight at home...then making sure that children go to school prepared to intellectually dismiss and refute the garbage they will have shoveled their way via curricula created by "educators" who hate the things for which America has stood since its inception.

The efforts of those represented on this page are crucial to the perpetuation of the American dream for our children and future generations.

American Reformation Project

"The mission of the American Reformation Project is to help facilitate
the reformation of the American political system. This reformation will be born on the principles upon which this republic was founded. That is, Christian principles; a Christian political philosophy which rooted the Constitutional framework upon which America functions. We believe this framework cannot withstand decay and eventual collapse in the absence of Christian values of Justice, Brotherly Love, and Stewardship. And we believe the Constitution of the United States is the most complete expression of the Christian principles upon which America was founded."

American Policy Center

"APC believes that the free market, through its inherent system of checks and balances, including private ownership of property, is the best method yet devised for creating individual wealth, full employment, goods and services, and protecting the natural environment.

APC’s approach to establishing free market policy is rooted in the conviction that a well-informed American public is the best guarantee that U.S. policy will be guided by a keen awareness of the complexity of world politics and America’s role in it.

We use the phrase "Heritage Wars" because our heritage is under attack. Destroying our heritage is, in effect, destroying the fabric that holds our society together. As Winston Churchill said, “A nation that forgets its past has no future.” For the sake of our future and that of our children, we must preserve and restore our heritage, our true history.

If our inalienable rights cannot be identified, the liberty that stems from them is lost. Our liberty can be revitalized, but only by the Citizens of the states of the Union learning and understanding what their inalienable rights are, and standing up boldly and decisively when government threatens those rights. This web site is but one resource to assist Citizens in identifying their right and how to protect them. In short, our goal is, "Restoring the Republic...one Citizen at a time."

Toward Tradition

A a non-profit (501.c.3), educational organization working to advance our nation toward the traditional Judeo-Christian values that defined America’s creation and became the blueprint for her greatness. We believe that only a new alliance of concerned citizens can re-identify and dramatically strengthen the core values necessary for America to maintain that greatness and moral leadership. These values are: faith-based American principles of constitutional and limited government; the rule of law; representative democracy; free markets; a strong military; and, a moral public culture.
